What do you love most about coordinating weddings?
"Helping to alleviate any stress or concern for the bride and groom so they can relax and enjoy their day to the fullest. I love getting to know the couple in the months prior to the wedding and being able to witness one of the happiest days of their lives."
How do you handle challenges on a wedding day?
"I am a calm person by nature which certainly helps and my 23 years as an executive assistant have taught me that the more prepared/proactive you are for unforeseen circumstances, the better. When issues arise during the wedding day, there is always a solution and often the couple isn't even aware of it as it has already been resolved. That’s the beauty of having a wedding coordinator."
What advice would you give to those couples planning their wedding?
"Don’t stress about the small things and understand that as much as you can plan every single moment, things may not always turn out as planned and that is 100% ok! Don’t put all that pressure on yourself. It will still be an incredible day…one that you’ll remember forever."
Outside of work, what are your hobbies or interests?
"Spending time with my husband, traveling, salsa dancing and being a volunteer dog walker with Elderdog."

Can you share your favorite wedding memory or experience?
One of my first wedding coordinations, I had a moment where I was standing near the dance floor, watching the couple enjoy their night, and had a moment of "wow, I'm doing my dream job right now", which was pretty special. But the other part that never gets old is hearing from couples how I helped make their day perfect.
What do you love most about coordinating weddings?
I love seeing weddings that highlight a couple's unique interests and stories, and how they bring their personalities and interests into their wedding day in creative ways. And I love solving problems before the couple even knows there was an issue.
What advice would you give to couples planning their weddings?
Don't forget that if there's a tradition you don't love, you can just leave it out of your day! More and more people are foregoing traditions that don't suit them and I love that that's happening.
What's something fun or surprising about you that people might not know?
I can solve a Rubik's cube in under 2 minutes!​
ZOE IRVINE

What do you do as a wedding content creator?
First of all, I am NOT a photographer or videographer but rather work along side these professionals. I capture the behind-the-scenes, raw, and unfiltered moments of your special day, creating a personal documentary of your celebration! I deliver all the content within 24 hours of your wedding, allowing you to relive those precious moments almost instantly. I also create a highlight reel of the day that is sent to you within 72 hours, that you can share with your family and friends. This way, couples, family, and friends can be fully present, knowing every important detail is being documented.
What inspired you to become a wedding content creator?
When I got married a few years ago I loved the little videos that family and friends took during the day and behind the scenes. Some of these I had no idea were being taken, which makes them so special and real. I didn't have too many because we were so focused on the day and I wanted an unplugged ceremony. If I were to do it again I would have hired a content creator to capture all the moments because the day goes by soooo fast and there are so many moments you miss or forget about.
What equipment do you use?
I capture everything on an iPhone! I also bring charger packs, charging cords, tripods, lights (which I occasionally use) and a gimbal for certain shots.
What do you do outside of Otium?
I am a personal trainer at Evolve Fitness, love staying active and being on my feet. I am also a true homebody at heart and enjoy spending time with my husband Will, my daughter and two cats. Since getting married and having my daughter I’ve realized the importance of capturing special life moments in a raw, unfiltered, fly on the wall kind of way.
